Hendon happy despite Bees defeat

Barnet had their London rivals under siege for much of the second half, but could not find an equaliser. "In the second half we could have had five or six, and if you are going to lose a game of football that's the way to lose it," said Hendon. "That was the best 1-0 defeat I've ever seen and I couldn't have asked for anything more from my players. "We've come away to the side at the top of the league and hardly let them out of their own half. In the end we had five strikers on the field. "But credit to Brentford. They are a very good side and I'm sure they won't have had a test like they did in this game."
