Hendon hails battling Bees side
Paul Furlong's fifth goal of the season pulled them level after John Akinde had given the home side the lead, leaving Hendon a happy man despite his men still not being entirely safe from relegation.
"I thought we showed a lot of character to come from a goal down, but to be honest that is typical of our recent performances," he said.
"Nobody here thinks we are safe - until we are mathematically safe we will not rest.
"But we have a bunch of guys here who are working their socks off.
"It is just a shame really, as if we had started the season like this I reckon we would be a top 10 side at least."
