Hendon fumes at sloppy Bees

Barnet boss Ian Hendon slammed his side's performance following the 2-0 defeat at Shrewsbury. Goals from Craig Disley and Steve Leslie put the Shrews in control, while the Bees lacked ideas throughout despite the introductions of attacking trio Albert Adomah, Paul Furlong and Albert Jarrett. Hendon said: "I'm disappointed we got beaten but I'm more disappointed because my experienced players have not given me what I wanted from them. "The first goal was down to Gary Breen who gave the ball away and the second one was down to Matty Lockwood. He's held his hands up and fair play to him but he's got to do better there. Those two goals cost us the game." Hendon added: "I've just said to my players you've got to take a leaf out of Shrewsbury's book. At the start of the season we were working as hard as them defensively home and away. "We've come to a tough place and credit to Shrewsbury as they were organised and everyone did their job. They worked their socks off."
