Hendon: Bees let themselves down

09 December 2009 12:00
The Bees lost their second round replay 1-0 at home to extend their winless run in all competitions to seven.[LNB]And Hendon insists now is the time for them to stand up and be counted.[LNB]He said: "I get players banging on my door wanting to play and when they get a chance all they do is let themselves down. The players will be in early on Wednesday and Friday for extra training as we clearly have to improve.[LNB]"Accrington took the game to us and I was very disappointed with our first half performance. We went three at the back in the second half and tried to go for it to get back in the game and that left us vulnerable.[LNB]"We were missing eight players out there but we can't make excuses because we were just poor."[LNB][LNB]
