Barnet's veteran striker Giuliano Grazioli will miss the start of the new season due to a knee injury.
The 32-year-old managed just two goals last season and was injured as he was out running to boost his fitness for the coming campaign.
A hospital scan on the problem revealed no ligament problems, but did show soft tissue damage around the kneecap.
Grazioli told the club's official website: "It's only a niggle, but it's disappointing that I'm missing out on pre-season games and the start of the League Two programme."
Grazioli moved to Underhill in the summer of 2003 and was a key figure in the club regaining their league status by winning the Conference title in 2004-05.
