News of the departure of two of the club's backroom staff

Giuliano Grazioli and Michael Stone have left Barnet according to the BFC website. Grazioli, of course, has become something of a legend at the club, both as a player, being one of the major factors in the club’s promotion fro the conference in 2005 and in a managerial position when he took the manager reins over for the last five crucial matches in 2010/11 and lead the club to League Two safety following the departure of Martin Allen. For an in depth analysis ofGraz’s career, see the Barnet Mad website.

Stone worked as first team coach under Mark Stimson and Lawrie Sanchez after joining the club in the summer of 2010 from Rushden & Diamonds. However, he seemed very much to be the quiet man behind the scenes at Underhill and many Bees’ fans were confused about Stone’s actual role at the club and how much impact he had on results. Stone came to Barnet with a good reputation as a coach and it cannot have been an easy stay for him at the club as he will have experienced a great deal of instability in his two years at Barnet.

Barnet Mad wishes both of them all the best in the future.
