Fairclough hails spirit

Barnet manager Paul Fairclough was delighted with the strength of character demonstrated by his players in a 4-2 victory over Lincoln. The Bees raced into a 3-0 lead through Steve Kabba's brace and a fine Mark Hughes strike. Luke Howell and Ashley Grimes put the result in doubt only for Izale McLeod to make the game safe. Fairclough said: "I've got mixed emotions. Certainly for a neutral sitting out there they've had entertainment for their money. "I should really be feeling elated but I'm a bit puzzled and a bit disappointed. "It was fantastic getting the three points and I've got to give a lot of credit to the players because to get into the lead we played marvellously well and we should have gone further ahead. "To show the character again to stand up and go at it again and further increase the lead tells me a lot about those players."
