Jake Cole reveals he is happy! Jake Cole has delighted all Barnet fans by claiming "Joining Barnet was the best thing that ever happened" Many Barnet fans dreaded that after last seasons disappointing performance many of the first 11 would leave and a lot of them did, except Cole. Jake Cole revealed to www.barnetfc.com that he was happy to stay at the club for the time being, but what all us Barnet fans want is a five year contract extension! Jake Cole joined Barnet on loan in 2009 to play the remaining 10 games of the 2008/09 season and he impressed. At the end of that season he was released by QPR and Barnet snapped him up straight away. Ian Hendon was the man responsible for Cole's signing, but sine he has played for three different managers at Barnet (Hendon, Fairclough* and Stimson), but has kept his place as Barnet's number one since. But, let’s face it Phil Carpenter is his only current competition! *Cartaker Manager
