Bees stung by Leary loss

Barnet have received a blow with the news that midfielder Michael Leary has been ruled out for up to two months.

The Bees midfielder lasted just 20 minutes of Saturday's 2-1 defeat by former club Brentford and scans have revealed medial knee ligament damage.

The 24-year-old joined Barnet earlier in the summer and had featured in all four of their league and cup games at the start of the new season.

"Thank God it's not a cruciate - he's a lucky lad," manager Paul Fairclough told the club's official website.
