Bees eye new striker

Barnet manager Paul Fairclough is keen to bolster his free-falling side by bringing a new striker to Underhill on loan.

The Bees have been linked with West ham United youngster Freddie Sears and Charlton Athletic forward Izale McLeod.

"It's obvious to everyone that we need a striker - a Jack Lester type figure or a Giuliano Grazioli of three seasons ago type player," Fairclough told Barnet's official website.

"However, the size of our crowds does reflect the quality of players we can sign."

Meanwhile, Fairclough has opened new contract talks with Neal Bishop even though the midfielder still has 18 months left on his current deal with the club.
