Bees display gives Stimson hope
Barnet manager Mark Stimson believes his side's display against Torquay demonstrated that they can move off the foot of the League Two table.Elliot Benyon converted Eunan O'Kane's angled shot to give the Gulls the lead, but Mark Byrne headed home Mark Marshall's corner to level the contest after 20 minutes."At the moment Torquay are up there in the play off places and we are sitting at the wrong end of the table but we are quietly confident - we are getting a few players back from injury now," said Stimson."They are all working extremely hard in training and again, all that hard work has come out in the game. We could possibly have been in the lead after two minutes, Steve Kabba got through but their defender made a great recovery challenge and sitting in the dug-out that has happened many a time this season."We haven't taken our chance and it goes to the other end of the pitch and they have taken the lead. But full credit to my players, they dug in and we scored a decent goal from the set piece through Mark Byrne and in the end we were going for the win."With getting players back from injury and this result we have something to build on. You don't like making excuses as a manager, but we've been hit quite severely by injuries."
