Bees coy on Bailey omission

Barnet have failed to specify the exact reasons why Nicky Bailey was left out of the side that beat Stockport County, other than to say it was "for disciplinary reasons."

The 22-year-old learned of the news when he reported to Underhill before the match.

Bailey has been a regular in the Bees side this season, missing only one game before Saturday's encounter.

Meanwhile, boss Paul Fairclough was quick to praise Oliver Allen after the 3-1 victory against promotion-chasing County.

The 20-year-old found the net for the fourth successive match, and Fairclough said: "It's great for Oliver. I'm just waiting for him to score two in one game.

"As far as I'm concerned he's done fantastically well."
