Bees boss refuses to blame Hess

Barnet boss Paul Fairclough refused to single out Andy Hessenthaler for blame despite the veteran midfielder gifting Bristol Rovers their opener in Sunday's 2-0 victory at the Memorial Stadium.
Stuart Nicholson raced on to a woefully under-hit backpass from Hessenthaler and placed a cool shot across Barnet keeper Lee Harrison to set up the victory.
"The game was going nowhere in the second half and looked all over, a 0-0 job, until Andy Hessenthaler's back-pass handed Rovers a goal," claimed Fairclough.
"He's been immaculate for us, so he made an error but he will get over it and so will we.
"I was proud of our performance coming especially after losing Tresor Kandol and his 13 goals to Leeds in the week."
