Barnet boss Paul Fairclough revealed he was personally humiliated by the performance of his players during Saturday's 5-0 thrashing at Grimsby Town.
The Bees' four-match unbeaten run came to a shuddering halt at Blundell Park as young Mariners striker Danny North helped himself to a first senior hat-trick.
"We have taken all the plaudits recently when we've been outstanding but I have to take every bit of criticism. I'm not going to hide," fumed Fairclough, whose side is currently 15th in the League Two table.
"I am disappointed and humiliated by that kind of performance. You can't have five or six players not performing in a game.
"Our away form doesn't lie - we've won only four times."
