Bees stung by Shrimps

Morecambe came from two goals down to deny Barnet their second win of the season in a 2-2 draw. The Bees looked set for a much-needed win after Glen Southam stroked home a 68th-minute penalty after Garry Hunter had felled Ricky Holmes to give his side a 2-0 lead. Steve Kabba's 52nd-minute opener, which came after he slammed a loose ball home, had given Mark Stimson's side the lead. But Morecambe hit back with a goal almost immediately when Stewart Drummond made it 2-1 with a close range finish after Paul Mullin had flicked on a long Capaldi thrown. Drummond almost levelled the scores a few moments later with a shot that hit the crossbar but Paul Mullin earned the home side their fourth home draw of the season when he headed home Scott Brown's cross from close range.
