The 21-year-old has attracted interest for the last 12 months and Kleanthous rejected an improved offer from Blackpool two hours before the close of the transfer window. The club also confirmed they rejected bids from Norwich and Watford during the summer and now intend to hand Adomah a new contract. Kleanthous said: "We want to help Albert progress in his career but any deal has to be right for both him and the club and at the moment that has not been the case. "He is a key member of our team and we are prepared to offer him an improved contract and we will sit down with Albert and his representatives in the next couple of weeks."
