Bees look at makeshift defender Kelly

Barnet striker Danny Kelly could become the answer to the club's defensive problems. Kelly, who has missed much of the season through injury, is to line up at centre-half when the Bees reserves take on Broxbourne Borough in the Herts Senior Cup on Thursday night. Barnet have been without both of their first-choice centre-halves for most of the season after Daniel Leach and Darren Dennehy suffered long-term foot injuries in September. So Paul Fairclough will be hoping Kelly gives him a selection dilemma ahead of Saturday's clash with Lincoln as he bids to haul the Bees off the foot of the table.
