Bees boss slams defensive showing

The Bees took a two-goal lead thanks to on-loan duo Yannick Bolasie and Paul Furlong, but goals from captain Ryan Bennett and Doncaster loanee Stuart Elliott put Grimsby level before half-time.[LNB]Barnet moved back in front when John O'Flynn made it 10 for the season from the spot after Joe Widdowson had brought down Albert Adomah, but Adrian Forbes' overhead kick ensured the game ended all square.[LNB]Hendon, whose side stay third bottom after the draw, said: "I couldn't ask much more of the players going forward. We created a number of chances to score six goals but it wasn't enough to win the game and it should have been.[LNB]"But defensively we were very poor and we need to do better than that if we are going to get out of trouble but I assure you we will get out of it.[LNB]"To say I'm unhappy is an understatement we had the lead twice in that game and we've given them three goals, two from corners and one from a throw-in and that's not good enough. It's alright scoring three but if you concede three then it's not good enough."[LNB][LNB]
