Bees boss hails players' respect

The Bees broke new ground last season by becoming the first club in the Premier and Football Leagues to announce that only their captain would be allowed to speak to the referee in a bid to cut down on dissent. After testing the scheme out last season, the Underhill club have done the same thing again this campaign and have reaped the rewards with 12 of their squad escaping cautions throughout the year. Amongst those players is winger Albert Adomah who has been ever-present this season and Hendon insists he no longer needs to mention the need for good discipline to his charges. "We don't hammer it into the players, it is ingrained on them from last season," he said. "Wide players like Adomah get upended week-in-week-out with heavy attention from defenders so it is commendable that he can go the length of the season without a booking."
