Bees boss baffled by penalty miss

The struggling Bees should have claimed a point after being awarded the spot kick late on, but Leary's tame attempt was easily saved by Exeter's Paul Jones, much to the annoyance of Hendon.[LNB]"Why Michael Leary has decided to take it, I have no idea," Hendon fumed. "To say I am disappointed is an understatement because we have a named penalty taker. That is something we will have to sort out.[LNB]"There was not much in the game, John O'Flynn has headed just wide of the post and 30 seconds later, their fellow has hit a shot from 40 yards and no goalkeeper is going to save it.[LNB]"That's football, that's how it goes sometimes. Our goalkeeper hadn't had a save to make.[LNB]"In the second half they scored a goal which we could have maybe defended better and I said to the lads not to be disappointed with their performance. I am bitterly disappointed because the lads have given their lot, but there were a lot of positives to take from the game."[LNB][LNB]
