Bees banking on McLeod

Barnet are hoping Izale McLeod will be fit for the trip to Port Vale. The striker marked his first start of the season with both goals in Saturday's 2-0 win over Accrington but could not train earlier in the week due to muscle stiffness. Defender Anwar Uddin and midfielder Ricky Holmes will be checked over after picking up knocks at the weekend while a bug at the club affected a number of players this week. However, boss Mark Stimson is confident they will all be available and will probably name an unchanged side. Winger Glenn Poole should be on the bench again after recovering from an ankle injury but Mark Byrne (knee), Daniel Leach, Darren Dennehy (both foot) and Danny Kelly (hamstring) remain sidelined.
