Barnet goalkeeper Rob Beckwith has announced he is quitting the game at the age of 24.
The former Luton shot-stopper had been made available for loan by Bees manager Ian Hendon, but soon after handed in his resignation at the club.
Beckwith told Barnet's official website: "I've just not got the heart for it any more. I don't see too much point in going through the motions.
"I've had a lot of knocks in my time but this has nothing to do with injury. I just don't enjoy it any more."
During Beckwith's time with Luton, he caught the eye of many. He was even linked in the media with a move to Arsenal, but was plagued with injury during his short career.
