Basey relishing Addicks replay

Barnet centre-back Grant Basey is relishing the FA Cup replay against Charlton and insists the Bees can pull off a shock against his former club. The 21-year-old joined the Addicks at the age of eight and spent 12 years there before joining Mark Stimson at Barnet in the summer after a trial period with Scottish Premier League club Aberdeen. He insists his team-mates would draw confidence from giving the League One promotion contenders "a run for their money". Basey told the Times: "It's a bit strange playing against your old mates. I was there (at Charlton) since the age of eight but the boys are buzzing. "I'm looking forward to going back to The Valley. It's a fantastic place to play football."
