Barnet manager hangs up his boots

Barnet manager Ian Hendon has retired as a player on medical grounds.The 37-year-old former defender took over from Paul Fairclough at Underhill in December last year but had remained registered as a player. The Bees boss has not played since November 2007 and has spent the last year recovering from a ankle operation.
