Iro doubt for Bees

Andy Iro is an injury doubt for Barnet ahead of the visit of Fleetwood.

The on-loan Stevenage defender was taken to hospital with a head injury during last weekend's 2-0 win at Rotherham.

The problem turned out not to be serious but Barnet may decide not to risk him, so Clovis Kamdjo could be handed a start in the back four.

Jamal Lowe has returned from a loan spell with Hayes & Yeading and could be added to the squad as four other forwards remain unavailable.

Jon Nurse completes a three-match ban for his red card against Aldershot on New Year's Day while Steve Kabba (knee), Collins John (hernia) and Ishmail Kamara (shoulder) are still on the casualty list.

Barry Nicholson is in contention for a return to the Fleetwood midfield.

Nicholson last played in the 1-0 victory over Morecambe on Boxing Day but has returned to training following a back problem.

Whether the game itself goes ahead would appear to be in some doubt at after Thursday night's game between Arsenal and Fulham at Underhill in the FA Youth Cup was postponed due to adverse weather conditions.

A free weekend would give striker Jon Parkin (hamstring) and defender Youl Mawene (foot) further chance to move back towards match fitness after returning to light training.

Following five games unbeaten at the start of Alexander's tenure, Fleetwood are looking to respond to back-to-back defeats against Northampton and Bristol Rovers where they shipped a total of six goals.
