Davids still missing for Bees

Barnet will again be without player-boss Edgar Davids when they host Cheltenham.

The veteran Dutchman completes a two-match ban after his sending-off against Accrington last weekend, his second red card of the season.

Davids hopes to be able to welcome back fellow midfielder Ross Jenkins and top scorer Jake Hyde after they also missed Tuesday night's 2-0 win over Fleetwood through illness.

On-loan MK Dons defender Tom Flanagan should keep his place after making his full debut in midweek.

Steve Kabba remains sidelined by a knee problem and Ricky Holmes is out for the rest of the season due to a foot injury, but fellow forward Craig Beattie is pushing for a start after recently recovering from a hamstring injury.

Cheltenham midfielder Jason Taylor is pushing for a recall to the side after missing the victory over Rotherham.

The former Miller sat out the emphatic 3-0 win due to a gentleman's agreement with the club he left in the January transfer window but he will hope to be involved against the Bees.

Midfielder Sam Deering is set to start again as he prepares to return to Underhill for the first time since leaving the club last summer.

And defender Michael Hector is set to partner Steve Elliott at the heart of the Robins defence once more despite being one yellow card away from a two-match suspension.

Mark Yates' men head into the match just two points off the automatic promotion places in npower League Two.
