Coulthirst cancels out Hemmings opener as Barnet and Mansfield share the spoils

Shaquile Coulthirst scored a late goal to salvage a point for Barnet in a 1-1 draw against Mansfield.

Kane Hemmings put the visitors ahead in stoppage time of the first half after latching on to the end of Alex MacDonald's skewed shot.

However, Coulthirst tapped in the rebound of Wesley Fonguck's effort in the 84th minute to level the scores.

The first chance of the game fell to Danny Rose, who had an acrobatic effort cleared before Craig Ross had to use his feet to save MacDonald's shot.

The Stags came close again shortly after the hour-mark when Hemmings dragged a shot just wide of the post.

At the other end, Fonguck's dipping volley was spilled by Conrad Logan but the goalkeeper managed to hold on to the ball at the second time of asking.

In the second half Coulthirst was played through on goal but he couldn't direct his shot on target.

Barnet applied a lot of pressure to find an injury-time winner but couldn't find the goal to snatch all three points.
