Barnet boss Martin Allen was unhappy with the referee's decision to send off Ian Hendon during the goalless draw with Stevenage Borough.
As well as dismissing Hendon for two bookable offences, the referee flourished eight further yellow cards and ordered off Stevenage striker Dino Maamria, leaving Allen dissatisfied with his handling of the match.
"I thought Ian's first yellow card was a bit harsh," he told the Barnet & Potters Bar Times.
"It was a fantastic local derby between two good teams. It was full of commitment and full of passion. Both sets of players gave everything.
"I think the referee could have been a little more flexible and allowed for the fact that it was a derby and that there was lots of passion out there."
