Highly-rated winger Albert Adomah is the latest Barnet player to ask for a transfer after scoring five goals in 22 appearances for the club in the second half of the season.
The 20-year-old former Harrow Borough player told the Bees' official website: "I've made this move to try and achieve clarity on what's happening out there. Everything's happened very quickly since I joined Barnet."
Club spokesman Dennis Signy added: "Albert's an exciting young player who's made an impact from day one at the end of January when he made a fairytale Football League debut away to Hereford United and scored.
"He's intimated that he wants to leave and, as the chairman and the manager have made it clear that we don't have to sell players, he then put in a written transfer request.
"He remains a Barnet player, but if the right deal is offered to us and the deal is also right for Albert, he'll go with our best wishes."
