Xavi cites fixture congestion

Barcelona midfielder Xavi has suggested the club's recent loss of form is down to the sheer numbers of games they have played already this season.
Barca have seen their 12-point lead at the top of the table reduced to just four points on the back of two defeats and a draw in La Liga.
But despite claims of a crisis of confidence at the Camp Nou, Xavi claims the only problem is fixture congestion.
He said: "It is March 4 and do you know how many games we have played? 42. Do you know how many games Real Valladolid have played? 29. Do you know how many games they will play all season? 42.
"There are still three months to go and we have already played the same number of games that 80 per cent of teams will play all season.
"People should remember that."
