Villa calm after Barca deal

Spain striker David Villa is determined to be top scorer at the World Cup finals, having already sealed a big-money move from Valencia to Barcelona.

The 28-year-old is expected to be a key figure as Spain aim to add World Cup glory to their European Championship success of two years ago, with Villa ready to show his class.

He told reporters: "It was vital for me to resolve my future.

"I am calm in a way I was not last year and this time around I'll be making news for what I do in training or in the matches, not for what is happening somewhere else.

"It would be great to be top scorer here because that would mean a lot of goals for the team."
