Barcelona have told veteran defender Sylvinho that he will not be offered a new contract when his present deal expires next month.
The 35-year-old former Brazil international has been at the Camp Nou for the past five years and won two Champions League trophies, three league titles and one King's Cup.
Sylvinho was a surprise starter in last month's Champions League Final victory over Manchester United due to a spate of injury and suspension absences.
However, the former Arsenal and Celta Vigo has now been told he will not be offered a fresh deal and he will be free to find another club for next season.
"FC Barcelona would like to publicly acknowledge and thank Sylvinho for his contribution and commitment over the last five seasons," read a club statement.
