Barcelona president Joan Laporta is confident that the current La Liga leaders will beat Lyon and reach the Champions League quarter-finals.

Barca hit back to draw 1-1 in the first leg of their last 16 encounter in France on Tuesday, a result that pleased Laporta.

He said: "The fact we are at home in the second leg should be decisive. The team reacted well after going behind and now we should win the tie at home.

"We knew that Lyon were a good team. Juninho creates a lot of problems from set-pieces and Karim Benzema is very fast.

"Benzema could play for any of the world's great clubs but, for me, Samuel Eto'o is the best striker in the world and we will do all we can to keep him at the club."
