Puyol shrugs off absences

Captain Carles Puyol is confident that Barcelona can shrug off the loss of some key players to win the Champions League Final.

Barca will be without injured central defenders Rafa Marquez and Gabriel Milito for the Rome showdown with Manchester United, while full-backs Eric Abidal and Dani Alves are both suspended.

"We do have important players missing but the team arrives to this game in good form," said Puyol.

"We have great players and everything will be perfect.

"We have good vibes and we know we have an historic opportunity against a great team.

"We are optimistic."
