Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola blamed a lack of "finesse" for his side's failure to overcome Getafe on Sunday.
Barca's nine-game winning run was brought to a halt following a 1-1 draw at the Camp Nou as Seydou Keita's 72nd minute equaliser salvaged a point for the La Liga leaders following Manu's opener for the Madrid club.
"I want to thank all the people who came to the stadium today and who applauded us at the end," said Guardiola.
"The fans can't be fooled and on days that we are not applauded, we've played badly.
"If they clapped today it's because they saw their team working hard and what they were working for.
"Maybe we rushed a bit in the final quarter and we lacked the finesse that would have given us that final pass or ball, but the team dominated the game, especially the second half."
