Neymar warming up for La Liga in style

Brazilian sensation Neymar is warming up in spectacular style for displaying his talent at his new home – the football powerhouse of Barcelona – alongside another phenom, Lionel Messi. Neymar has scored in each of the three league games for Brazil, twice before the tenth minute of the match and has rounded it off with a spectacular free kick against Gianluigi Buffon’s Italian side.

3 consecutive Man of the Match awards outline the role he is donning in overseeing his team to dominating victories. With his performances, the new Brazil Number 10 has also grabbed the headlines of his rejuvenated national team which is slowly winning the hearts of the fans again.

Neymar’s arrival in the La Liga will be a challenge for Tito Villanova as he would be faced with the prospect of handling two of the best footballers in the world with a big reputation for their goal scoring prowess. But Neymar’s humble assessment of Messi as the better player and his willingness to assist the Argentinian to continue to be the best football player on the planet could actually aid Villanova’s cause on the positive side.

With the Confederations Cup semifinals beckoning against formidable opponents in Diego Forlan’s Uruguay, Neymar will certainly look to find the back of the net again and achieve the immediate goal of seeing Brazil lifting the cup – something he might have to fight for against the men who just might spoil his party, Del Bosque’s gladiators in red.
