Barcelona defender Gabriel Milito has agreed a one-year contract extension with the newly-crowned Spanish champions.
The 29-year-old Argentina international has overcome an injury-plagued start to life at the Camp Nou to become a first-team regular this season.
"I'm immensely happy. After suffering everything that I have it's great," said the former Real Zaragoza defender, who missed the entire 2008/09 season with a serious knee ligament injury.
"I've always said that this is the best group I've every played with, and now I can go on holiday delighted to have won the league and because I've been in good shape."
Milito, who is now under contract until summer 2012, made 17 appearances in all competitions for the Catalan club this season.
