Barcelona stars Lionel Messi and Carles Puyol have warned their team-mates not to take anything for granted ahead of their pivotal La Liga clash against Real Valladolid on Sunday.
A win for the champions at would keep the title at the Camp Nou for a further season and, although the hosts are massive favourites to beat the relegation-threatened side, the duo have told their colleagues not to become complacent.
Speaking to reporters, Messi said: "It will be difficult. At this point we have to make the last step. It will be much more complicated than people think.
"I want all my colleagues and me to be champions. We want to celebrate a title at home in front of our fans and to honour the Nou Camp by winning the league."
Meanwhile, skipper Puyol backed up the Argentine's claims, but has also suggested it would be a dream to win the title on home soil.
"The match on Sunday will be difficult and complicated although we play at the Nou Camp," he said.
"To obtain a title at home and with the fans adds a plus for the squad. We are preparing for the match calmly because an error could break our dream."
