World Player of the Year Lionel Messi has been passed fit to take his place in the Barcelona side that faces Bayern Munich on Tuesday evening, the club has confirmed.
"Leo Messi has received on Tuesday the medical all-clear and will be able to play against Bayern Munich in the first-leg of the Champions League semi-finals," said a statement on the club's website.
"The Argentine player has the green light from the doctors to play in the huge match against the German side."
Messi suffered a hamstring injury in the first-leg of Barca's quarter-final tie with Paris Saint-Germain on April 2.
The 25-year-old returned to play the final half hour of the return-leg against the Parisians a week later as Barca sneaked through on away goals after a 3-3 draw on aggregate.
However, he has since missed league matches against Real Zaragoza and Levante.
