Marquez wants Barca stay

Defender Rafael Marquez is hoping to agree a new contract which will see him finish his career with Barcelona.

The Mexico international is out of contract at the Camp Nou next summer and is keen to resolve his future with the Spanish and European champions.

"I am entirely willing to settle the matter of my contract," the 30-year-old defender told Marca.

"My idea is to finish my career at Barca. I am proud to be with a club that is more than a club."
