Key Mexico defender Rafael Marquez is hoping to remain at Barcelona next season, despite being linked with an exit from the Camp Nou.
The 31-year-old centre-back, currently featuring for his country at the World Cup finals in South Africa, was mainly a back-up player for Barca last season, but Marquez is content to stay put.
He told RAC-1: "It is true that I did not play many minutes last season, and we will have to see what the coach and the club want - if they are interested in my stay or not.
"I have had many offers to go, but I want to stay at Barca. I have been here for seven years.
"It would be an honour for me to continue at Barca. I have two years left on my contract and I am happy with this team."
