Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is hoping the shockwaves from Saturday's shock LaLiga defeat to newly-promoted Alaves are still not reverberating around the Nou Camp when Celtic visit on Tuesday night.
It was a much-changed Barca side Enrique with forwards Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez and midfielder Andres Iniesta starting on the bench but even after throwing the talented trio on and drawing level at 1-1, the hosts were still on the end of a stunning 2-1 victory.
The Catalan giants have no time to dwell on that setback, however, and have a Champions League group game against Brendan Rodgers side, who travel with confidence following their 5-1 home win over Rangers on Saturday lunchtime.
"We were not happy of course," said Enrique
"No one likes to lose, especially at home. We got back into the game but we lost.
"I hope it has no effect on the squad, we will have to see.
"We have had two days of rest. We are looking forward to tomorrow and we will see what happens.
"After every game, whether it is a win or a loss, there are things to improve.
"Our objective is to win the next game, it is the only one we can think about.
"We don't want to think about the long run, the key thing is to beat Celtic.
"We need to play good football because it will not be easy."
Barcelona beat Celtic 3-1 in their International Champions Cup clash the Aviva stadium in Dublin in July.
However, Enrique is not reading too much into that match and is well aware that Celtic are up and running in their season and sit top of Ladbrokes Premiership with four straight wins.
He said: "It helps that we played them in pre-season but in terms of intensity and points being at stake it is a bit different.
"They are complicated rivals.
"We need to be a solid, reliable team home and away and after an unexpected defeat in the league we have to concentrate.
"Celtic is a historic club and back in the Champions League. I am happy to play them here and looking forward to going to one of the best stadiums in Europe.
"I am worried about some of their players, like Moussa Dembele who scored a hat-trick (against Rangers), Scott Sinclair and Patrick Roberts.
"They will give us a problem."
