Barcelona president Joan Laporta has refuted reports suggesting he is set to resign.
Laporta lost a vote of confidence on Sunday but was not forced from office as less than 61 per cent of fans - short of the required two-thirds - voted against him.
Reports in the Spanish media suggested he would hand in his notice at a board meeting on Thursday, but Laporta responded by saying: "I do not intend to resign. It is legitimate to continue."
Laporta has come under fire after a couple of trophy-less seasons at the Camp Nou.
