Keita extends Barca stay

Barcelona midfielder Seydou Keita has signed a new contract that will keep him at Camp Nou until the summer of 2014.

The versatile Mali international joined Barca from Seville in 2008 and has played 59 games in his two years with the club, scoring ten goals in the process.

Although new signing Javier Mascherano will add fresh competition for places at the Catalan giants, Keita is happy to extend his stay.

Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "I'm starting my third year here and have already won everything but I want to continue to win more."
