Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta has been given the green light to return to action following three months on the sidelines.
The Spain international picked up a thigh injury during the closing weeks of the last campaign but returned to play in Barca's Champions League Final victory over Manchester United.
Iniesta started in the 2-0 victory in Rome but suffered a reaction and missed Spain's Confederations Cup series in South Africa and also the start of the new La Liga season.
A subsequent viral infection further delayed his return to action but the diminutive playmaker has now been passed fit to be involved in this weekend's La Liga match against Getafe.
"Over the last few weeks he has gradually been getting back into a normal training routine," read a club statement.
"And now, 102 days after the Rome final, Iniesta can feel like a true footballer once again."
