Ibrahimovic backed to stay with Barca

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent is confident that the Sweden international will still be a Barcelona player next season, despite this week's arrival of David Villa from Valencia. Ibrahimovic has endured an inconsistent campaign with the La Liga champions following last summer's big-money switch from Internazionale, a transfer that saw Samuel Eto'o move in the opposite direction. However, Mino Raiola has denied that his client will be leaving the Camp Nou, even though Manchester City are reportedly keen to secure his services. He told Calciomercato.it: "The club have already said they are happy with Zlatan. Villa's arrival has nothing to do with Ibra and it does not put his stay in danger as Villa can play well on the wings. "He (Ibrahimovic) has a contract until 2014 and he is happy at Barcelona."
