Henry playing through pain

Barcelona striker Thierry Henry has admitted he is currently playing through the pain barrier.

Henry was on the mark during Saturday's 4-2 victory over Real Mallorca despite being hampered by a knee injury.

"I've always played with a sore knee," explained the Frenchman.

"I have not been 100 per cent at any time this season. I could not bend either leg and I have been suffering discomfort."

Henry, 32, has spoken out after some critics suggested his best form was behind him as he approaches the twilight of his career.
