Happy Puyol has no quit plans

Barcelona captain Carles Puyol has no intention of leaving the club and hopes to continue playing for the Catalan giants for another six years.

The 30-year-old has spent his entire professional playing career with the club and has no plans to retire just yet.

"I see myself playing until I'm 35 or 36 years old," he said. "The idea is to retire here but to remain at the club beyond that but, in football, you never know what will happen.

"I do not like being a coach. Perhaps I'll become the technical secretary, because the job is much more enjoyable."
