Dani Alves says no to Manchester City move

Dani Alves has put a massive hurdle in the way of Manchester City's efforts to sign him on any big money by insisting he wants to remain at Barcelona for the remainder of his career.

The Brazilian full-back has long been linked with a move to the Etihad in a big money deal that would see him earn similar money to the biggest stars already on city's books.

It now seems that even with the Manchester clubs wealth and massive wage packets, the full-back is eager to remain at the Catalan giants.

He has a contract at the club until 2015 but says he wants to extend that deal and retire at the Camp Nou.

He told Barcelona-based newspaper Sport: "My intention is to retire at Barcelona. "My team-mates are great people and this team is unique. You will not find another team like this."
