Bojan pens Barca extension

Highly-rated Barcelona youngster Bojan Krkic has signed an extended contract to keep him at the Camp Nou until the summer of 2013.

The 18-year-old broke into the Barca first-team set-up last season and quickly made a big impression in scoring 12 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions.

The gifted teenager told his club's official website: "I'm very happy here.

"I'm a young player and, just like last year, I hope to continue to have the confidence of the coaches. Being in the first team at 18 is a privilege.

"I think that last season was very good for me, but that is now in the past.

"Everything is new and we all have to start from scratch. I need to take advantage of the minutes I am given this term."
